Geraniums are versatile perennials that flower for several months through early summer and are at their best in July. One outstanding cultivar is Geranium 'Rozanne', easy to grow with gives masses of mauve flowers which emerge through the vigorous and lush foliage.

It looks at its best grown among shrubs and taller perennials where its lax habit can be used to full advantage and will create a fantastic effect.

This is often one of the hottest months of the year and a great time to sit out and enjoy your garden. Keep plants looking well by regularly dead-heading, and you will enjoy a longer display of blooms. Make sure you keep new plants well watered and hoe off weeds, which thrive in the sunshine.

Direct Gardens offer a professional garden design service which is specifically tailored to your needs, providing shrub and planting advice, designs and planting plans, from a small area to a full-size garden.

We will work with you so you have something that meets your requirements, from the traditional cottage garden to a contemporary city garden.
