Front Garden Transformation
Direct Gardens, in collaboration with our esteemed Designer/Plantsman, Mr. Peter Dunbar, undertook a remarkable transformation of the front garden. Meticulously designed elements were implemented to elevate both the aesthetics and functionality of the space. The focal point of this design masterpiece is an exquisite set of floating steps that gracefully lead to the front door. The client’s discerning choice led us to select Marshalls Symphony Classic porcelain paving in the elegant “Barley” shade, embodying sophistication, durability, and longevity. Enhancing this luxurious paving, Mr. Peter Dunbar curated a selection of plants that not only add subtle beauty but also serve as a practical haven for insects, bees, and butterflies, fostering a thriving ecosystem within the landscaped garden. A lush, verdant lawn completes the front garden, while carefully placed Scottish pebbles provide charming accents and create harmonious clusters of greenery.
Rear Garden Oasis
In perfect harmony with the front garden, the rear garden underwent a transformation to become a serene sanctuary, ideal for relaxation and communion with nature. Once again, we employed Marshalls Symphony Classic porcelain paving in the exquisite “Barley” shade to create a tranquil patio area. This oasis is cocooned by wildlife-friendly plants, meticulously chosen to attract and support local fauna, with a particular emphasis on the beloved butterfly population. To further enrich the landscape, screen trellises were thoughtfully installed to host climbing plants, ensuring a vibrant and dynamic natural display. To enhance accessibility and future-proof the design, new wrap-around steps were introduced at the rear patio doors. These steps not only add convenience but also cater to the evolving needs of the homeowner as age advances. The project culminates with a meticulously maintained lawn, seamlessly merging the rear garden with its natural surroundings, achieving a state of perfect harmony.
